This historic site has hosted memorial services for over 100 years, bringing together veterans' organizations and patriotic groups to honor fallen service members. The cemetery itself is a California-registered historical landmark with a rich history dating back to before 1847, making it a significant place to pay respects on this solemn holiday. Limited parking is available; consider using the shuttle service from Cabrillo National Monument for an alternative transportation option.
