Welcome to our "I Love RVing" mini-series. The exciting adventures of how common people fell in love with the RVing lifestyle. Next up will be a collection of featured shorts for quick morning reads! Thank you again to all of our incredible contributors and their interesting stories. "When I watched baby brother take his first steps in our trailer. When I rolled out of the bunk onto my parents in the bed below. When my dad's chair by the campfire started to rip and he slowly sank down in it. When I caught a big trout one night off the dock while everyone else played a board game. When my grandparents took us to a hot spring and the water smelled like eggs. When my dad would hang his Navy hammock between 2 trees and we would see who could get in it without getting dumped out. These are just a few of the moments that have made me love RVing and make me eager to pass on this love to our grandchildren." - Val P."I live in San Jacinto so Golden Village Palms RV Resort is only about 7 miles away but when we are there it's like another world. This resort has great amenities, beautiful pool and spa, great exercise room, library and great entertainment just to name a few. There are lots of things to do there and in the surrounding area. The staff at Golden Village Palms is one of the friendliest you will find. Our RV club, REXASAURUS, celebrates our club birthday party there every year. They are always very accommodating. I have stayed several times and will return again. We love this place." - Joseph R. "My story is short and sweet. In the fall of 06' on our "Maiden RV Voyage", after a few months on the road from Canada, we turned the corner into Golden Village Palms RV Resort and couldn't believe our eyes. What a beautiful entrance, with palm trees, gorgeous flowers and green grass everywhere. We fell in love with GVP that first week, continued to stay each year thereafter for longer and longer periods and finally 4 years ago decided to buy a Park Model. We spend approximately 6 months each fall/winter and have never regretted our decision." -Lois K.
