The Whaley House Museum is one of only two officially designated haunted houses in California. Constructed in 1856 on a former gallows’ site, the house was once home to the Whaley family as well as San Diego’s first theater and county courthouse. And if you are feeling adventurous, visit the historic Whaley House, often called the “Most Haunted House in America” Haunted tours are a popular attraction, especially around Halloween!
