The Cave Store in La Jolla
Experience a real piece of San Diego history! The cave was dug out back in 1902.
It’s a 145 step tunnel that leads to the Sunny Jim Sea Cave. It leads from the Cave Store, down through the sandstone cliffs of La Jolla Cove. There are rarely any sea lions or seals on the rocks, but if you are fortunate enough, you might see them during your visit. The view is spectacular and it’s a great adventure, particularly for kids.
Cave tours operate on a reservation-only basis every day – except for Tuesdays and Thursdays. Face masks are required for entry and must be worn while on Cave Store property. Read more: https://www.cavestore.com/
