Emerald Desert RV Resort is located in beautiful Palm Desert, an idyllic location that is perfect for relaxing or venturing out to enjoy all that the California desert has to offer. Here are a few suggestions:

Chino Canyon
Head over to Chino Canyon, since it is just a 22 minutes drive from our Emerald Desert resort. Chino is the known to be one of the most-visited canyons in California and it's located in the Santa Rosa & San Jacinto Mountains National Monument. It is famous for being one of the steepest canyons in North America.
Joshua Tree National Park
Another definitely bucket-list worthy destination is Joshua Tree National Park! It is an American national park near Palm Springs. Joshua Trees are the world's largest Yucca (palms) in the world. The Joshua flowers begin to develop between March and May, so now would be the perfect time to start planning your trip. There are many hiking trails criss-cross through the boulders of Hidden Valley, as well.
Coachella Valley

Coachella is another oasis just 14 minutes away from Emerald Desert! It's a sanctuary to a number of species of rare wildlife and of palm oases. Coachella is famous for its majestic hiking area and extraordinary trees. It is a truly remarkable area and be sure to discover something mesmerizing with every visit.
