We have fun activities for kids, including ping-pong, corn hole, pool tic-tac-toe, chalk, and board games.
Are campfires allowed at Vacationer RV Resort?
Unfortunately, no. Local city ordinance does not allow this for your safety with RVs and propane gas in the vicinity. However, barbecues are welcome.
Are there any RV age or type restrictions at the resort?
Yes. All RVs must be fully self-contained and are subject to exterior inspection upon arrival. Your RV must be clean and rust-free, with no broken windows, and if motor powered, running. Tarps on roofs, duct tape and other modifications are strictly prohibited. The RV must be 10 years or newer. There are exceptions to this rule; please contact the resort manager if you think your RV qualifies. Sorry, no tent camping.
What are the check-in and check-out times at Vacationer RV Resort?
Check-in time is 1 p.m. Check-out is 12 p.m. Early arrivals and late departures (if available) may be subject to a nominal fee.
Can I purchase propane at Vacationer RV Resort?
Yes, we offer a weekly delivery service to the park.
Does Vacationer RV Resort have a heated swimming pool?
Yes. We have a year-round heated outdoor pool that is maintained at 84 degrees F. Our hot tub is also open year-round and is maintained at 102 degrees F. The pool and hot tub hours are from 8 a.m.- 9 p.m. seven days a week.

Yes, Vacationer RV Resort in El Cajon, California, is conveniently located near a variety of shopping and dining options. Guests will find grocery stores, casual restaurants, and cafes within walking distance, including local favorites like Janet’s Café, Mamma Rosa’s, and Marieta’s East. For more extensive shopping, popular destinations such as Westfield Mission Valley and Fashion Valley Mall are just a short drive away.

Vacationer RV Resort in El Cajon is ideally situated for exploring San Diego's top attractions. Located just 19 miles from downtown San Diego, guests can easily access iconic destinations such as the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, and the Gaslamp Quarter. Family-friendly spots like SeaWorld® San Diego and Mission Beach are within an 18 to 19-mile drive, while Old Town San Diego and the USS Midway Museum are approximately 15 to 16 miles away. For outdoor enthusiasts, Mission Trails Regional Park is just 8 miles from the resort, offering hiking and biking trails.
Do you offer group camping areas or multiple RV sites together?
Yes. Our resort has a beautiful clubhouse for smaller, more intimate events for groups of 10 or less, but it does not have a kitchen or dedicated meeting room. Do you have pull-through RV sites? Can you fit a 45-foot RV?
Yes, Vacationer RV Resort offers a limited number of pull-thru sites and can accommodate RVs up to 65 feet in length, including 45' RVs. It's recommended to call ahead to confirm availability.
Do the RV sites come with full hookups?
Yes, all of our RV sites offer water, sewer, cable TV, 30/50 amp electric, and trash service. All stays 14 consecutive nights and longer are subject to metered electric charges.
Is WiFi included at Vacationer RV Resort?
We offer Broadband Internet connection for free at 5MBps (Megabytes) for checking emails and social media sites. However, if you will be streaming video (Netflix, Hulu, Disney +, etc.), that delivers 15 MBps with multiple devices.
