Always the Sunday before Thanksgiving, the Mother Goose Parade is a few weeks away! This, the largest parade in San Diego County and the largest of its type west of Mississippi, attracts thousands of spectators to El Cajon each year.
Event organizers are expecting more than 100 parade entries from around the U.S. This year, parade entries will include: motorized floats, marching bands, drill teams, clowns and characters, horses, performing artists, celebrities, giant balloons, specialty vehicles, and the man himself - SANTA!
The parade will kick off November 24, 2013 at 9 a.m. Make sure to give yourself enough time to get a good seat!
